TBD Race Calendar: November 2021

It is hard to believe but we’re already in the final stretch for CX season. And yet, even as we are deep into CX season there is still road racing coming up for New Yorkers. It’s all very confusing, but here is our look at the NYC and thereabouts race calendar for the month of November.

As always keep an eye on the TBD Race Calendar because we’ll keep it updated as we start to ramp for the 2022 road season:

• November 6-7: Northampton International, or Noho, is a team favorite. In fact there are entire Top 10 lists on the Journal expressing our love of this race. So in short: if you’re on the East Coast and you want to race bikes this coming weekend, consider Noho.

• November 13-14: we do not have much experience with Really Rad CX, but when Lucia attended a few years back she had nothing but positive things to say in her race recap. So we’ll be bringing a full squad out for the 2021 edition of the race in Falmouth, MA. We should have some Athletic Brewing to share so keep an eye out for our tent in team row.

• November 20-21: at the risk of being accused of hometown bias, we think Rainey Park Cyclocross is one of the best races on the fall calendar. No other race matches the backdrop of the NYC skyline across the East River, and our pal Keith does an amazing job turning a tiny park into an excellent CX venue. Don’t miss this race, even if you’re just coming out to spectate.

• November 27-28: if you ambitious and not overly stuffed from Thanksgiving, there is still bike racing to be had the final weekend of November at Secret Squirrel CX in Raynham, MA. We have heard good things about this race, but it had yet to make it to the TBD Journal so we do not have any grand wisdom—only that the internet says it’s fun.
