New Bike Day: the latest TBD x Factor Ostro VAM
Please excuse my excitement but it has been quite some time since I have bought a new road bike (disc brakes weren’t a thing on the road when I bought my last bike)!
I had been very happy with my TCR but we have done 50,000km together and I felt like ole yellow deserved a nice retirement in Australia so I jumped on the ACME x Factor x TBD opportunity. When Factor began developing the new Ostro, the pro teams using the frame that I have reportedly said “whatever you do, don’t f*** it up”, that’s how much they loved the frame and I can’t wait to get some kilometres on mine. A big thanks to the team at ACME for the build, especially teammate James. After years of riding rim brakes and mechanical shifting, I have gone full modern on this build:
