Announcing the To Be Developed Cycling Grant Program
Since founding our team more than a decade ago, we have always aligned around the goal of growing and improving cycling as a sport. The Journal has been a core component of this effort, whether providing a behind the scenes look at race organization, analyzing the various challenges the sport faces, or offering our collective voice for change.
As we think about the next phase for the team, we’re excited to be in a position to put our money where our mouth is: today we’re pleased to announce the To Be Developed (TBD) Cycling Grant Program. The TBD Cycling Grant Program will strive to support grassroots and youth cycling in the New York City tri-state area via targeted monetary grants offerred to teams and events that are on the forefront of growing the sport.
The goal is to award between five and ten grants on an annual basis, with initial funding in place for at least three years of awards. We’ll be sharing a formal grant application in the coming weeks as we aim for an impactful first year for the TBD Cycling Grant Program. The program will have a particular focus on cyclocross and off-road cycling, but we hope to support organizations and events in other disciplines as well.
Stay tuned for the grant application and in the meantime if you have any questions or are interested in ways to help support the grant program, feel free to reach out via: Team@ToBeDetermined.cc
