The TBD family is growing
If you have read the To Be Determined Journal for long enough you have probably developed the sense that women’s racing is important not just to our squad, but to our entire approach to growing and supporting the sport.
At the same time, you may have also read any number of Journal entries from our friends at CityMD Racing as they have written about everything from the State of the Sport to adventures abroad.

For years CityMD Racing has been our sister team of sorts. In addition to their longstanding presence on the Journal, we have shared any number of adventures on the bike, from Rasputitsa to the #ParktoPoolFondo. In the pursuit of races and adventure our teams have shared long road trips and cheered each other on from the sidelines.
And throughout, if anything, CityMD Racing has been the more successful sibling. They won the CRCA Team Cup - awarded to the best women’s team in New York City - twice in recent years and have had two different riders take home the CRCA Jim Boyd Cup in recent years. They are also leading both of those competitions this year! And if that wasn’t enough, they have also been tremendous leaders for the cycling community with two members serving at President of CRCA in addition to various volunteer roles with the CRCA and NYSBRA Boards. They have also been voices for change and inclusivity within the cycling community.

All of which is why we are beyond excited to announce that the women of CityMD Racing are officially joining the To Be Determined family and will be racing as To Be Determined for the remainder of the 2019 season. And this is only the starting point! There is much more news to come on this front, including some new team kit.
But for now we are beyond excited for the TBD family to grow and make what was unofficial, finally official. As usual, stay tuned to the Journal for more of our adventures on and off the bike.
