Weekend Forecast: Tour de Millersburg

Fresh off a busy stretch of racing one of our favorite events of the entire season is on the calendar for this weekend: the Tour de Millersburg in Pennsylvania. Featuring three stages of racing (TT, Crit, RR) the Tour de Millersburg has been a feature on the team's calendar since at least 2013 and with its grassroots spirit, very challenging crit course and beautiful rolling road race it is one of those events that keeps drawing us back year after year.

Unfortunately with Intelligentsia Cup shifting back a week - many of our racers got back to NYC around 2AM this morning - our numbers for this year's Tour de Millersburg will be smaller than normal but we definitely encourage East Coast racers to give this event a look. With free host housing at the local church and access to the lovely community pool after the criterium it is tough to beat when it comes to grassroots community oriented racing. For a full sense of what the event is all about check out last year's TBD Journal post: 'Looking Forward to the Tour de Millersberg.'

Perhaps due to schedule conflicts registration looks light at the moment and we'd hate to lose one of the few remaining East Coast stage races, particularly when it is an event as special as the Tour de Millersburg. If you're looking for some competitive grassroots racing with strong community support check out this weekend's Tour de Millersburg.
