TBD Race Calendar: March 2018

With the 2018 race season kicking off later this week (race one in the CRCA Club Series) followed shortly thereafter by the famous CRCA Grant's Tomb Criterium we wanted to highlight a few of our favorite races coming up in March on the TBD Race Calendar.

  • Grant's Tomb Criterium - real talk: the weather at Grant's can be absolutely brutal. But it is also one of the best races in the area with huge turnout, tons of fields and a unique course that generates exciting racing. So get registered, check out CityMD's race guide and hope for good weather!

  • CRCA Club Series - at $115 for twelve races in Central Park the CRCA Club Series remains some of the lowest cost racing anywhere in the country. And with the 2018 Club Series featuring professional results and USAC upgrade points for the first time that value equation has gotten even better. Join the Club before the season kicks off on March 3rd!

  • Branch Brook Spring Series - if not for schedule conflicts we would likely be in Newark for the Branch Brook Spring Series nearly every weekend. It's a great series promoted by Tom Mains, one of the true good guys in the sport. For non-CRCA members or racers looking for a change of pace from Central/Prospect Park look no further than the Branch Brook Spring Series.

  • Castelli Spring Series - we are probably a bit biased given the Castelli Series fields line up very nicely with our team composition but either way we had a blast at the Castelli Series last year and we will be back in 2018. For racers that don't fit in the Castelli Series fields there is always the Lucarelli & Castaldi Series as a Prospect Park alternative.

  • H2H March Mayhem - finally for those mountain bikers in our midst the H2H Series kicks off in New Jersey toward the end of the month with the March Mayhem race in Medford.

For the complete schedule of upcoming races throughout the tri-state area head over to the TBD Race Calendar. Keep a particular eye out for the New York City Spring Series, for which additional information should hopefully be forthcoming. If we are missing an event from the calendar make sure to drop us a line via the submission box below the embedded calendar!
