Introducing the 2018 To Be Determined X Garneau Team Bikes
A few weeks back we summarized our long history working with the Garneau Dream Factory to develop the four prior generations of Garneau bikes that we have been proud to call our own. Now with the 2018 road campaign kicking off in a handful of days we are excited to reveal the latest generation of Dream Factory creations that we will be racing across the country in the coming months:
As was the case with our new kit designs introduced last year these two paint schemes - one cream and one nicknamed 'blood bike' - were developed entirely by the team. It was a process that involved extensive sketching and lengthy debate but thanks to close coordination with the Garneau Dream Factory, whose execution on the finished proud was flawless, we could not be more excited. Those with a keen eye will notice that our new Dream Factory paint schemes have for the first time been applied to a Garneau disc road bike. Indeed after spending several months demoing the D1 we pulled the trigger and for the first time will have riders on Garneau disc bikes during the 2018 road season. Stay tuned for a more complete review of this latest and greatest model from Garneau in the next few weeks.
Though just in case there was any doubt we are still absolutely in love with the A1 that we first reviewed back in 2016. Several riders stuck with this tried and true aero-focused rim brake model so expect to see the A1 in both blood & cream paint schemes on the mean streets of New York City:
These are just a handful of pictures we were able to grab with the bikes on a rainy New York City evening the day they arrived from the Garneau Dream Factory. We'll have much more on these bikes and the build process in the coming weeks. Who knows, maybe we'll even do another bike build video set to Barry White.
