Exploring Connecticut
Over the half decade that Team Health Warrior has been riding and racing there have been many constants. Among them is exploring the mountains and backroads of Northwest Connecticut.
Often this has been part of the Tour of Litchfield Hills, where the team has raised more than $20,000 for cancer treatment.
This past weekend our journey north from the city was for another reason altogether. The latest in the string of team member weddings. Thankfully the groom planned ahead and made sure the weekend itinerary explicitly included a pre-wedding group ride.
As is only appropriate for any ride in Litchfield, we ended the excursion lake side for some much needed R&R. Which meant Corey got to live out his David Hasselhoff / Baywatch fantasies with a faux rescue. All in all it was the perfect setup for the evening festivities that followed.
PS - while THW will sadly miss it due to schedule conflicts, registration for the 2016 edition of the TOLH is still open. If you're looking for a ride this coming weekend, look no further: TOLH 2016 Registration
