Escaping Cabin Fever
With winter storm Jonas trapping most of the squad indoors for the better part of a week we eagerly looked forward to the weekend and getting back on the open road.
Starting the morning with a heavy dose of coffee during the U23/Elite Women's Cyclocross World Championships, the squad headed out with pockets stuffed with plenty of nutrition for a long-ride under blue skies.
Thankfully the roads were mostly clear, though a bit of black ice on the bridge did put one of our crew on the deck - fortunately without injury. All in all not a bad way to escape a mid-winter bout of cabin fever.
