A Giant Team Weekend at the Beach
While our summer at times seems to be dominated by racing, with a lackluster local race calendar on tap for this past weekend and a beach house available for our use, we decided to pack up our bikes, our significant others and in certain instances our pets and head east for a long weekend of riding, swimming and drinking cold beverages. With routes titled "DIRT" and "WIND" the riding was anything but tranquilo, but whether it was the mid-ride taco stop, the beach bonfire with fried chicken or the massive Sunday night seafood boil we were well nourished from start to finish. And while our Saturday #dirtsearch may have featured a shocking six flats (only one of which actually occurred on the dirt) with good friends along for the ride, it was hard to complain about a pretty perfect weekend on and off the bike.
