For the past two years Team Sixcycle-RK&O has been privileged to partner with Louis Garneau, the manufacturer of some of the finest cycling apparel available today (as well as a range of other products including bikes and nutrition). After a successful year of racing in LG kit, Louis Garneau sent the squad their Course Attack Gloves, which we reviewed here. We'll be putting these gloves to use throughout the fall and in the spirit of riding all year (the same spirit that led to one of our most popular posts: Zero Visibility) we decided to give away one pair of the gloves via a photo contest on Instagram.
We reached out to team sponsor Grimpeur Bros to see if they'd like to join in the fun they quickly signed up, insuring the winner receives a pair of Louis Garneau Course Attack Gloves, a bag of Grimpeur Bros coffee and of course immortal internet fame.
And just like that, our #RideAllYear contest was born.
There can be only one winner
After several weeks of entries from as far away as Chile, #RideAllYear included some incredible images, making for a difficult choice but in the end we had to choose a single winner. And that winner comes from right here in New York City:
Honorable mention
Given the quality of the entries we realized that we couldn't choose just one winner, and so an honorable mention and a second bag of Grimpeur Bros goes to perhaps the most epic conditions of any #RideAllYear picture:
