Paolo Zenoni Memorial Cyclocross Race

Paolo Zenoni Memorial Cyclocross: This past weekend Team Sixcycle-RK&O headed up to Harriman State Park for the always terrific Paolo Zenoni Memorial Cyclocross Race hosted by Westwood - the perfect opportunity for CX racers to test their legs at a local race ahead of the long drive up to Gloucester this coming weekend. The weather was beautiful, the race was very well run and the course was extra muddy, making for a fun but challenging day of racing that ended appropriately with waffles and beers courtesy of Waffles & Dinges. Check out a few pictures from the race below and on the team's Facebook page, as well as video from the first thirty minutes of the category four race race on Vimeo embedded below.

Stay tuned for future cyclocross race reports as the cyclocross season progresses as Team Sixcycle-R&O will be headed north in the coming weeks for Holy Week - Glouchester and Providence - and continuing to race throughout the rest of the cx season.

The first thirty minutes of the Men's Cat 4 race courtesy of Team Sixcycle-RK&O's Matthew Vandivort, who started relatively well in the battle for the hole shot but quickly slowed to a crawl due to severe back pain that brought him to a near halt.
