Urban CX: Ride Recap

Attempting to race CX in NYC is a mixed bag. Despite a growing community of racers there are relatively few races in the immediate vicinity of NYC and with open space in high demand it can be hard to find a venue to so much as practice CX. On this particular day attempts to get in a brief CX practice were derailed by a combination of temporary fencing and surprisingly extensive private security. However this occurrence highlighted one of the best aspects of being a CX racer in New York City: Urban CX in the midst of one of the world's great cities.
