Despite the constant threat of rain it was a (mostly) dry morning for the CRCA Lou Maltese Memorial presented by Lucarelli and Castaldi. NYSBRA President Jeff Poulin was in attendance for highly competitive racing that saw breaks beat the odds and stay away through the finish. In the Team Invitational Augusto Sanchez won in a hotly contested field sprint, playing an important role in GS Mengoni's victory in the team competition. In the Women's field Kristin Lotito won a field sprint over Aimee Layton. The Cat 3 field saw a four man break escape late in the race with Ramphy Colome victorious out of this selection. Finally the Cat 5 field saw a number of breaks off the front with Ashley Bernes ultimately taking the win out of a small group.
